Beautiful place, great food. There is a terrace surounded by forest and a small river flowing by; the main building is a stone rustico. We ordered almost everything on the menu, there are many traditional dishes with a slight spin.
Lovely place in the woods! 🌲 English was not a problem at all and we received a very friendly welcome. There was no more free space but we were not sent away. A place was prepared for us on the roof terrace.
The food comes very quickly! Everything was translated and explained to us. The food is homemade - the pasta dough is delicious and light! The ravioli in walnut sauce is excellent. I ate the best panna cotta with caramel sauce of my life! We will be very happy to come back when we visit Italy again. 💚🤍❤️
Grazie per il cibo delizioso e l'ospitalità! 🍷⛰️🫒🍋🫶
Greetings from Germany! 🇩🇪
A hidden gem on the countryside well worth a visit!
One of the best restaurant experiences so far during our three weeks travel through Italy. The entire place is as genuinely Italian as you can get it, from the food to the atmosphere and service located at a beautiful old mill.
We had several of the pasta dishes, and were not disappointed :) The ravioli with pecorino was our favorite, but all of the dishes was amazing.
We can also recommend the local red- and white wine.
We had panna cotta for dessert, and this was the our only minor disappointment as it didn’t taste as homemade as the main courses.
The chocolate cake was moist and amazing.
The waitresses was very professional and charming. We will definitely be back!
First of all the pasta was very salty. We saw very good reviews and had big expectations but unfortunately, it was not the best try. Portofino has very overpriced food. The pasta looks good, but the salt is way to much and it tastes blend. Expected more flavor.
Absolutely loved this. The welcome from the owners was amazing, the food above anything we have had in 5 days and unbelievably reasonable. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome, with plenty of time spent exposing the menu. The antipasti was a delight as were the pastas and the mixed grill. Make sure you leave room for the hazelnut cake
The place is so beautiful. So much green and so romantic. They have menu options and reasonable prices. Food is average. Secondi were really simple. Staff was really helpful.
Best food we had on our trip. The service is over the top, the location is beautiful. everything is just Great!
Beautiful setting whether it's outside or inside. The staff is the key of the business as they are really super friendly, smiley and enthusiastic.
Regarding the food, it was more of a miss. Living in Liguria myself where I'm used to agriturismi serving the same concept of prix fixe menus, I had higher expectations.
The antipasti were good but nothing to rave about. Specially the fried eggplant was kinda greasy and they added fried onion rings on top of that... The best antipasto was the grilled pepper with bagna cauda.
As for the main course, the mixed grill, it was either too salty or with not enough salt and the potatoes were not good at all. Probably heated up and heated up again and they were all chewy :(
The wine was...passable...
Good panna cotta though.
I found it expensive for what it was and it doesn't land high on the list f all the agriturismi I did in the past unfortunately. But a 5* for the staff though!
